52. Long, Long Ago
Tell me the tales that
to me once so dear
Long, long ago
Long, long ago
Sing me the song I
delighted to hear
Long, long ago
Long, long ago
Now you have come
All my grief is removed
Let me forget just as
long as I could
Let me believe that you
always be near
Long, long ago, long
ago.
53. Jack and Jill
Jack and Jill went up
the hill
to fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke
his crown
and Jill came tumbling
after
up Jack got, and home
did trot
as fast as he could
caper
went to bed to mend his
head
with vinegar and brown
paper
Jill came in and she did
grin
to see his paper plaster
Mother vexed, did whip
her next
for causing Jack’s disaster.
